Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking an experienced procurement professional to support operations across systems and production. You will procure a wide range of parts and materials, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery to meet production needs.

The role requires a business management degree and 3–5 years in manufacturing procurement, with strong knowledge of aerospace vendors and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a business management discipline with 3–5 years experience in manufacturing or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of aerospace vendors and products is preferred.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Procure a wide variety of technical and non-technical parts, materials, and supplies for operations and production, meeting cost, quality and delivery requirements.
  • Review requisitions for accuracy and consult with requisitioning department to ensure specs; negotiate substitutes when needed.
  • Solicit and analyze quotations; award purchase orders within authority; ensure compliance with regulations and trade practices.
  • Locate and contact vendors for best cost, service, quality and delivery.
  • Place purchase orders and negotiate price and delivery; identify substitutes as necessary.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure delivery aligned with production schedules; prepare periodic reports.
  • Advise requisitioning department of quotations, terms, and costs for review.
  • Analyze market/vendor trends to recommend vendor selections and pricing.
  • Arrange and attend meetings between purchasing, vendors, and requisitioning department.
