Job summary

Triumph Group is seeking an experienced procurement professional to identify and qualify suppliers, based in the United States. You will evaluate production capability, negotiate terms, issue purchase orders, and monitor supplier performance across a broad range of components and systems for aviation and industrial applications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3+ years of related experience (CPM preferred), strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work with ERP systems such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Business Administration or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions with 3+ years of related experience; CPM preferred.
• Knowledge of key purchasing and negotiating methods, principles and concepts and general business operations.
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
• Ability to use ERP systems (Syteline).
• Ability to negotiate effectively to obtain best price and terms.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• ITAR/EAR compliance requirements for select positions; US citizenship or equivalent may be required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and recommends suppliers by researching parts, equipment, machinery, services, and materials availability.
• Conducts supplier site visits and evaluates production capability, performance, delivery, and other criteria; may complete supplier certification.
• Purchases parts and materials by preparing RFQs and issuing POs with approved suppliers; maintains lead times.
• Evaluates bids for standard and non-standard items; negotiates price, delivery, quality and service.
• Monitors supplier performance and initiates root-cause actions for poor performers; mediates issues as needed.
