G.S. Precision, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Agent to manage direct and indirect materials for aerospace and defense manufacturing.

You will handle supplier relationships, POs, material availability, and cost performance to ensure on-time delivery. Join a team focused on continuous improvement, collaboration across departments, and compliance with aerospace standards. Candidates should have strong analytical skills and experience with ERP systems and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of purchasing, procurement, supply chain, materials management, or related experience.
• Experience managing purchase orders, supplier communications, and delivery schedules.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders from requisition through receipt, including order placement, maintenance, delivery monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Ensure material availability to support production schedules and customer commitments.
• Coordinate with suppliers to expedite, reschedule, and manage delivery requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned suppliers and manage day-to-day supplier relationships.
• Monitor supplier delivery, quality, cost, and responsiveness; support supplier performance improvement initiatives.
• Lead RFQs, evaluate supplier quotations, and support sourcing and supplier selection activities.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, commercial terms, and stocking agreements within established authority levels.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including capacity, performance, and continuity concerns.
• Support cost reduction, cost avoidance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, aerospace quality standards, and applicable regulatory and contractual requirements.
