Job summary

GAL AeroStaff is seeking a Procurement and Program Lead to bridge procurement leadership, manufacturing engineering, and new product manufacturing. The role targets candidates with a strong engineering or manufacturing background ready to expand into leadership across purchasing, planning, supplier development, and program execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment is required.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical interface with suppliers regarding manufacturing challenges and new vendor development.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
• Lead procurement team and support delivery, scheduling, and supplier selection from technical and commercial perspectives.
• Provide cross-functional input to improve lead times, delivery reliability, and supplier accountability.
