Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a seasoned Materials Manager for Voyager Lunar Systems to oversee material handling, inventory control, and logistics in a low-rate, high-complexity aerospace environment.

The role reports to the Director of Supply Chain and requires leading a team of material handlers, ensuring accurate ERP/MRP transactions, and coordinating with Quality and Engineering on issues. Onsite role with a strong focus on continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of materials management experience in complex R&D/low-rate production, or 14+ years in lieu of degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficient with inventory reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily material handling operations in aerospace materials and components.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of material handlers with training on handling standards, safety, and FOD prevention.
• Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure material readiness for builds, engineering changes, and config updates.
• Oversee ERP/MRP material transactions and ensure timely and accurate inventory reporting to support planning.
• Partner with Quality and Engineering to resolve non-conforming material issues and support MRB processes.
• Contribute to the development of materials management procedures and policies.
• Support budgeting, capacity planning, and resource management for materials operations.
