Job summary
KIHOMAC in Layton, Utah is seeking a senior quality/compliance engineer to enforce AS9100D/ISO9001 and related standards across aerospace programs. You will lead compliance reviews, perform FMEA and RCCA on non-conforming products, and audit people against work instructions to ensure integrity of processes.
Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration with engineering and ERP teams, continuous process improvements, and supporting root-cause analysis with sustainable corrective actions
Qualifications
- Must enforce AS9100D/ISO9001 and related quality standards.
- 7+ years of professional experience in relevant area.
- Aerospace, DoD contract, or Air Force MRO/Depot experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Enforce compliance to AS9100D/ISO9001 and other Quality standards.
- Lead compliance reviews and perform FMEA/RCCA for non-conforming products/processes.
- Audit personnel for adherence to work instructions and procedures.
- Communicate between engineering and technicians to support multi-disciplinary teams.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and quality.
- Support root-cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
