Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Wichita, KS, is seeking a production associate to set up, support and produce high-quality aerospace components. You will follow prints and specs, operate multiple machines, and ensure safety and quality controls across the line.

The role requires manual tool use, hand finishing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work any shift. Training and advancement within Spirit’s manufacturing team are available.

Qualifications

• Hand/Power tools experience required.
• Hand finishing experience preferred.
• Pneumatic tool experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness and ability to work any shift, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Set up, support and produce high-quality products and maintain a productive work environment.
• Plan, check and establish the sequence of work to fabricate, assemble and inspect hardware.
• Use tools and equipment to prioritize, complete and process work assignments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, specifications and related documentation.
• Maintain certifications and qualifications as required to perform work.
