Job summary

Spirit AeroSystems, Wichita, KS, seeks an experienced CNC setup/operator to support production and quality control. You will set up, operate, and calibrate CNC equipment, read blueprints and specs, and work across multiple machines to maintain high productivity.

Role requires 3+ years in CNC and the ability to work 10-hour shifts. Union environment with strong safety and quality commitments, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on CNC setup, operation, calibration, troubleshooting, and precision inspection experience
• Numerical Control experience
• Experience with X,Y,Z axis adjustments
• Experience with blueprint/drawing interpretation
• All applicants must be willing and able to work any shift (10 hour shifts), including alternative work weeks.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, support and production of high-quality products in a productive work environment.
• Plan, check, and establish sequence of work from fabrication through quality control requirements.
• Perform multi-tasking and multi-machine operation.
• Set up, operate, and calibrate CNC machine equipment.
• Use tools and devices to prioritize, complete and process work assignments.
• Perform inspection and non-conforming condition reporting; ensure preventative maintenance tasks are performed.
