Manufacturing/Process Engineer
Location: Hartford, CT area | Full-Time
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing/Process Engineer to develop, improve, and support manufacturing processes for precision components. This position will focus on process development, new product introduction, production efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes
- Support new product launches from planning through production
- Design tooling and fixtures using SolidWorks or similar software
- Improve throughput, quality, safety, and manufacturing costs
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues
- Lead Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with quality, production, engineering, and customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related Engineering
- 3+ years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
- Experience with process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or comparable 3D modeling software
- Experience with surface treatment processes-such as shot peening, blasting, coating, or finishing-is highly preferred
- Aerospace, medical, NADCAP, or AS9100 experience is a plus
- Must be eligible to work with ITAR-controlled information
