Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a process engineer for an aerospace precision manufacturing environment near Glenwillow, OH. You will optimize complex manufacturing processes, ensure quality, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires CNC background, CAD experience, and familiarity with MasterCam and Epicor; you will develop manufacturing plans, inspect plans, and collaborate across teams to boost efficiency and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Develop, document, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for complex, tight-tolerance precision components.
• Create and maintain manufacturing plans, including operation sequences and tooling requirements.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, PO, and GD&T to translate requirements into workflows.
• Support production with machine setup and process validation in CNC turning, milling, grinding, and manual machining.
• Design fixtures, tooling, gages, and workholding to improve repeatability and efficiency.
• Develop inspection plans and perform in-process verification using metrology equipment.
• Collaborate with CNC programmers, quality, and production teams with 3D CAD/documents.
• Investigate issues via root-cause analysis and implement improvements to quality and throughput.
• Coordinate with suppliers/subcontractors for quotes and certifications.
• Maintain ERP data, routing, labor standards, and revision-controlled docs.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing plans and production standards for new and existing products.
• Translate customer drawings and GD&T into detailed processes and workflows.
• Support machine setups and validate processes across CNC environments.
• Create and maintain fixtures, tooling, and workholding for repeatable results.
• Draft inspection plans and verify dimensions during production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on documentation and projects.
• Address production issues with root-cause analysis and improvements.
