Job summary

GKN Aerospace in the United States is seeking a pricing and cost analysis professional to support site‑wide generation of cost/price detail, ROMs, what‑if studies, and compliant pricing using established tools and published rates.

You will prepare proposals for government and prime customers, price ECPs and modifications, ensure FAR/DFARS/TINA compliance, support CAS audits, and collaborate with Contracts, Engineering and Supply Chain to align strategy and pricing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Finance Accounting or Engineering.
• 5–10 years of manufacturing environment work experience.
• Experience with proposal pricing, cost estimating, government contracting (FAR).
• Experience in project reporting, contract administration, cost/schedule planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals for government and prime customers, including detailed pricing models and supporting documentation
• Price Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs), and modifications
• Ensure adherence to FAR, DFARS, other applicable government regulations, and solicitation instructions
• Support compliance with Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and company Disclosure Statement
• Coach contributors on BOE quality, data standards, and estimating best practices
• Develop and maintain pricing volumes for competitive and sole-source proposals
• Participate in customer negotiations as pricing lead, providing cost rationale and risk analysis
• Support internal and external audits related to pricing and cost compliance
• Partner with Contracts, Capture/BD, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Legal to align strategy, schedule, and compliance
• Evaluate gaps in the competitiveness of our offerings and provide concrete plans to regain best in class offerings
• Set strategic pricing for these offerings based on an evaluation of our competitiveness
• Maintain a database that benchmarks competitiveness of our offerings
