Archer, an aerospace company in San Jose, is seeking a Project Manager for the Powertrain-related subsystems. You will serve as the primary liaison among Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to ensure successful delivery of inverter and mechanical subsystem work streams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering and at least 4 years of powertrain experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with powertrain systems (batteries, inverters, gearboxes, and related ground support equipment).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering required.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain relationships across Archer teams and suppliers for inverter- and mechanical-subsystem development and operations.
• Act as the primary interface between Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain on project deliverables, issues and resolution.
• Escalate to commercial or technical partners when required.
• Coordinate with Powertrain Program Managers on design changes, quantities, sequencing, build configurations, validation requirements, and material availability.
• Build project task-based schedules and track milestone progress against the program management plan.
• Identify and manage project Risks, Issues and Opportunities to closure with Engineering leads and Powertrain PMs.
• Execute within project schedule and budget, tracking expenses and identifying cost-savings opportunities.
• Align with Design Engineering on revision control of procurements for Engineering Builds and BOM reviews.
• Utilize configuration control and change management to maintain technical discipline of the program.
• Identify gaps in current processes and develop strategies to promote efficiency and productivity.
