Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Technical Product Leader to drive development and delivery of power-electronics products for aerospace, including inverters and converters. You will connect customer needs with engineering execution, leading cross-functional teams from concept through delivery.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, roadmap development, risk management, and ensuring delivery within cost and schedule constraints.

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
Experience with power electronics products and relevant technical domain knowledge.
Experience providing technical leadership for large-scale systems and familiarity with DoD programs is preferable.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical baseline across multiple aerospace power-electronics products and related devices.
Serve as the primary technical contact for customers and translate needs into product priorities.
Own and prioritize product activities aligned with program budgets, schedules and quality targets.
Coordinate across engineering and cross-functional teams to keep development moving toward delivery.
Drive on-time, high-quality delivery while addressing issues that affect performance, cost, schedule or quality.
Evaluate customer requests for feasibility and impact with technical teams.
Support customer proposals and product deliveries, balancing resources, cost and schedule.
Identify cost-saving opportunities to improve product value and profitability.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to align on objectives and direction.
Develop and maintain the product roadmap with milestones and future capabilities.
