Job summary

TT Electronics plc in the United States seeks a Power Electronics Engineer to lead design, analysis, and validation of avionics-grade power systems. You will guide architecture, simulations, verification, and cross‑functional collaboration across product life cycle.

The role requires 8+ years in power electronics, advanced tools proficiency (SPICE, MATLAB, Saber, SIMPLIS, MathCAD), and the ability to mentor engineers while delivering robust, compliant solutions for aerospace and defense programs

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
8+ years of progressive experience in power electronics design.
Experience with high-performance power conversion systems.
Proficiency with SPICE, SIMPLIS, Saber, MATLAB or MathCAD.
Experience leading complex engineering programs; ITAR compliance required.

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, development, and integration of complex power electronics systems.
Design advanced isolated and non-isolated power conversion circuits.
Develop system-level power architectures and converter specifications.
Perform advanced simulation, modeling, and analysis of power electronics designs.
Lead design verification, qualification, and root cause investigations.
Provide technical leadership during design reviews and customer presentations.
Mentor and develop junior engineers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle.
