Job summary

SQA Services is seeking a Quality PCBA Source Inspector for first-shift, part-time work in Los Angeles. 20-30 hours/week across 2-4 days, with travel time paid at 50% of hourly rate and mileage reimbursement at government rate. Must inspect PCBA assemblies for conformance to IPC-A-610 and client drawings.

Candidates should have 3+ years in PCBA inspection, be proficient documenting Certificates of Conformance, and maintain accurate records. ITAR or security clearances may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years as PCBA Inspector/Assembler in electronics manufacturing
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards
• Ability to read PCB assembly schematics and circuit diagrams
• Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC)
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual PCBA inspections and paperwork verification at client sites
• Verify PCBA products meet quality and specs, incl. component placement and solder joints
• Inspect soldering, orientation, and placement per design and IPC-A-610
• Confirm shipping docs are legible and accurate (part numbers, serials)
• Check documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects
• Interpret PCB manufacturing drawings and identify non-conformances
• Maintain equipment and keep workspace safe and organized
