Job summary

Actalent in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Quality Engineer to support product and process quality in PCB manufacturing and assembly for aerospace applications. You will develop, implement, and monitor quality systems across the manufacturing lifecycle to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and customer requirements, while leading data-driven root cause investigations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and customers, performing CAPA and SCAR

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Knowledge of IPC/J-STD requirements and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams and customers to ensure quality requirements are understood and achieved.
• Serve as primary contact for customer quality concerns and inquiries, providing technical support and issue resolution.
• Collect, analyze, and report quality data to support problem resolution and continuous improvement.
• Lead quality improvement activities including APQP, PFMEA, CAPA, and related quality tools.
• Support audits related to ISO 9001, AS9100, NADCAP, and DLA requirements.
