Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead PLM efforts in BOM and product configuration. The role requires collaboration with BOM/Engineering stakeholders and offshore teams to translate requirements into actionable work streams.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Vault, data migration projects, and strong analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for success in this client-facing position based in Ohio.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Proven experience in BOM/product configuration.
Proven experience in AutoCAD/Vault.
Work experience in Data migration and restructuring projects will be preferable.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to tackle complex technical challenges.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities, enabling effective teamwork and stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

To work closely with client (BOM and Engineering stakeholders), understand the requirements and cascade it to team members and offshore team.
Apart from individual contribution to the project, Identify and address technical challenges related to BOM, Product configuration, Data migration activities, sales configuration.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Proactively maintain good repo with client and pitch our PLM capabilities and help grow the account.
