Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six months to one-year related paint experience preferred.
• Skill in prioritizing and managing a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to use a computer for basic Microsoft Office functions (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to perform basic math and unit conversions.

Responsibilities

• Follow Lean Manufacturing and 6s practices.
• Visually inspect parts prior to painting and report any damage.
• Ensure parts are clean and ready for painting.
• Review work orders and maintain paperwork.
• Prepare parts using tools (sandpaper, electric sander) to achieve finish.
• Apply putty to non-conforming areas and touch up as needed.
• Read and interpret MSDS sheets for chemicals used.
• Wear and maintain PPE and follow safety procedures.
