Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a Top Coat Painter in Everett, WA to apply protective and cosmetic topcoats on aircraft parts. You will prepare surfaces, mix coatings, and apply finishes to meet durability and appearance standards, while adhering to safety and ITAR requirements.

The role requires 1+ year experience in aircraft painting, a high school diploma, and the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in aircraft painting or related work.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Successful completion of background check and drug test screening.

Responsibilities

• Inspect details and evaluate the painting work required for the part.
• Establish the correct paint per shop paperwork and apply coatings.
• Mix paints as specified by directions or Technical Data Sheets.
• Prepare surfaces with minor sanding prior to paint.
• Coat aluminum and other surfaces with epoxy, lacquer, or resin before final color coats.
• Manage time to complete tasks within assigned deadlines.
• Collaborate with team and coordinate with colleagues on the line.
