Job summary

Dassault Falcon Jet is seeking an Aircraft Paint Prep Technician I to perform essential surface preparation for exterior aircraft areas and removable parts. The role involves reading process docs, preparing substrates, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and be able to read, write, and communicate in English, with a strong emphasis on safety and attention to detail during sanding, masking, and painting operations.

Qualifications

• Must read, speak, write and understand English with good communication.
• Commitment to safety and PPE usage at all times.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in prep and documentation.
• Ability to learn and handle mechanical sanding, buffing and spray equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret latest process documentation for task assignments.
• Prepare aluminum and composite substrates for sealant, primer and paint.
• Maintain and set up work area and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Document traceability data using the computer system per processes.
• Inspect aircraft components before/after masking and painting steps.
