Job summary

Axiom Space is seeking a resilient Outsource Manufacturing Coordinator to manage the outsourcing of manufactured items and test support from RFQ through receipt of goods. This onsite role reports to the Production Planning Manager at the SSDF facility.

Responsibilities include vetting third-party manufacturers, coordinating quotes and deliveries, translating engineering requirements into vendor work packages, and ensuring AS9100/ISO 9001 readiness and strict IP protection across vendor

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
5+ years in manufacturing, supply chain, or production.
Experience with machining and aerospace vendors.

Responsibilities

Coordinate outsourcing of manufactured items and test support from RFQ to delivery.
Serve as primary liaison with vendor base and ensure quality and compliance.
Translate engineering requirements into clear vendor work packages.
Identify and evaluate third-party manufacturers and service providers in aerospace.
Monitor vendor lead times and drive on-time delivery for MPS.
Ensure IP protection and adherence to proprietary information.
Forecast outsourcing capacity with Production Planning.
Communicate project progress to stakeholders.
