Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. in Mobile, Alabama is seeking a Manager of Operations to lead our Flowline manufacturing team. You will oversee technical leadership and manufacturing activity, directing policies and procedures to achieve world-class performance and on-time delivery.

The role requires 8–10 years in aviation manufacturing, 5+ years in leadership, and deep knowledge of aviation production disciplines. Strong communication, ability to manage budgets, and collaboration with Quality,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Aviation, Business or related field preferred.
8–10 years in aviation manufacturing.
5+ years in a leadership position.
5+ years in Aviation Production disciplines (Mechanics/Structure/Electrics).
Experience with SAP, MES and HMS and strong MS Office skills.
Effective communication in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Operations team in the Flowline to deliver aircraft on time, with quality and cost targets.
Provide direction to production activities and oversee budgetary requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality and airworthiness standards.
Collaborate with Quality, Procurement and other functions to optimize workflows.
Develop manpower forecasts and line-balancing to achieve 95%+ In-station Build.
