Job summary

Molex's Aerospace & Defense Solutions (ADS) division seeks an Operational Excellence Leader to advance performance across safety, quality, delivery and cost. You will translate business priorities into measurable improvement strategies using MOS, Lean, Six Sigma and data-driven problem solving.

You will partner with operations, manufacturing, engineering, quality and supply chain to lead cross-functional initiatives, coach teams, and establish sustainable capabilities that drive bottom-line

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, operations, quality, supply chain or related field.
• Experience leading continuous improvement, operational excellence, Lean or Six Sigma initiatives.
• Ability to apply structured problem-solving to complex manufacturing challenges.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support operational excellence strategies aligned with ADS priorities.
• Drive measurable improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and working capital.
• Champion MOS adoption and translate OS principles into daily behaviors.
• Identify and prioritize high-value improvement opportunities using data and priorities.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma projects to reduce variation and improve flow.
• Facilitate Kaizen and rapid improvement events and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering to improve process capability and yield.
• Coach leaders in Lean, Six Sigma and structured problem solving to build capability.
• Establish KPIs and management routines for visibility into performance.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain to reduce defects and lead times.
• Develop business cases quantifying financial and operational value of improvements.
• Track initiatives, benefits, risks and sustainability with MOS and PM tools.
