Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA is seeking a Director of Operations to lead the efficient production of machined components in compliance with aerospace standards. The role drives operational excellence through strategic planning, team leadership, and process optimization, with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

The Director oversees P&L for two business units, guides budget planning with Sales and Finance, and ensures capacity planning aligns with business plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field required.
• High School Diploma or GED with 10 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Full control of Profit and Loss of the two business units.
• Preparation and presentation of budget plans with Sales and Finance departments.
• Capacity planning, capital investments, and staffing to support business plans.
• Review monthly product costs and adjust to meet budgeted standards.
• Review parts non-quality activity weekly and drive corrective actions with Engineering and Manufacturing.
• Define yearly goals for the business unit and review progress quarterly.
• Analyze budget requests and allocate operating budget.
• Monitor productivity and efficiencies via reports and coordinate with production and engineering teams.
• Maintain customer schedules and communicate work progress.
• Represent the company during customer visits and presentations.
• Perform related duties as required.
