Job summary

Turbine Controls MRO, a VSE Aviation Company, is seeking an NDT Technician II to conduct non-destructive testing on aerospace components at our Bloomfield, CT facility. The role requires a Level 2 NDT certification and involves interpreting test results and ensuring compliance with FAA/EASA standards.

You will prepare inspection reports, calibrate equipment, review technical manuals, and provide guidance to Level 1 inspectors.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 NDT certification and perform non-destructive tests on aerospace components.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and ensure documentation meets customer, company, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance and training to Level 1 NDT Inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret non-destructive tests on aerospace components using various NDT techniques.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment following approved procedures.
• Review work orders and blueprints to determine appropriate NDT methods and inspection criteria.
• Interpret results and make recommendations based on findings.
• Maintain NDT equipment and ensure system performance.
