Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3 years of related experience in lieu of
• Current Level 2 NDT certification(s) NAS 410 or equivalent, or eligible
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and blueprints
• Familiar with ASTM, ASME, NAS, FAA and EASA regulations
• Ability to work independently and make decisions based on inspection data
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret non-destructive tests on aerospace components using various NDT techniques
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and ensure proper documentation of findings
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and conduct tests per procedures
• Interpret and evaluate test results and make recommendations
• Review and analyze work orders, manuals and blueprints to determine methods
• Provide guidance and training to Level 1 NDT Inspectors
• Maintain NDT equipment and perform system checks
• Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA and company policies
• Participate in audits, inspections and corrective actions
• Other duties as assigned
