Job summary

VSE Aviation in Bridgeport, WV is seeking an NDT Technician to perform and interpret non-destructive tests on aerospace components. The role requires a Level 2 NDT certification and the ability to ensure part integrity while complying with FAA/EASA standards.

The successful candidate will prepare inspection reports, calibrate equipment, review blueprints, and train Level 1 Inspectors. This is a full-time, first-shift position with a Monday-Thursday schedule.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or 3 years of related experience.
• Current Level 2 NDT certification NAS 410 or eligible.
• Proficient in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical skills.
• Familiarity with ASTM, ASME, NAS, FAA and EASA regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret non-destructive tests on aerospace components using a variety of NDT techniques.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports and ensure proper documentation.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and conduct tests per procedures.
• Interpret and evaluate test results and make recommendations.
• Train Level 1 NDT Inspectors and ensure compliance with FAA/EASA standards.
• Maintain NDT equipment and support audits.
