Job summary

Turbine Controls MRO, a VSE Aviation Company, is seeking an NDT Technician II to conduct non-destructive testing on aerospace components. The role requires a Level 2 NDT certification NAS 410 and expert knowledge of ET and other methods, ensuring parts meet FAA/EASA standards.

Responsibilities include preparing parts, calibrating equipment, documenting results, and mentoring Level 1 inspectors. The candidate should function well independently and in teams within a high-quality, regulated

Qualifications

• 5 years of NDT experience, including Eddy Current inspections.
• Current Level 2 NDT certification NAS 410 or equivalent.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with FAA/EASA regulations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret non-destructive tests on aerospace components using various NDT techniques.
• Prepare parts before/after testing per work instructions and document findings.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and ensure readings meet specs.
• Interpret test results and recommend actions per standards.
• Provide guidance to Level 1 inspectors and support audits.
