Job summary

Mountain Air Cargo, Inc. is seeking a Level II NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing on aircraft and parts and to train other technicians, expanding the company’s capabilities. The role requires coordinating activities with inspectors and shop managers.

You will ensure safety and compliance, maintain equipment, manage test records, and travel as needed to support hangar and field operations, including night and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Formal NDT training records required.
• Experience determining product acceptability preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints and interpreting drawings.
• Able to perform basic shop math and read scales.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer-based software.
• Able to lift and transport objects up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive tests (NDT) and determine product acceptability.
• Record, organize, and evaluate test results; enter into documents.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety rules and protect self and others.
• Maintain equipment and calibration for tests; manage inventory.
• Coordinate NDT inspection workload and provide technical assistance to others.
• Perform automated ultrasonic C-scan inspection of composite parts.
• Must be available to work any shift; travel as required.
