Job summary

Joby Aviation is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for NDT on the 2nd shift in Marina, CA. You will perform ultrasonic, CT, PT, and ET inspections across composite, metallic, and additive parts, set up and calibrate equipment, and document results in MES/QMS systems.

Reporting to Quality Control leadership, you will ensure compliance with FAA requirements, NAS 410 practices, and internal quality standards while collaborating with engineers and shop-floor teams to support

Qualifications

• 2+ years of NDT inspection experience or NAS 410-equivalent training.
• Ability to read complex drawings and specs.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES and NDT software tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections on composites, metallics, and additively manufactured parts.
• Set up and calibrate NDT equipment and CT scanning systems.
• Interpret data from UT, CT, PT, ET and compare with drawings.
• Document findings and log in MES/QMS, issue MRBs when needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and shop-floor teams on techniques and root-cause investigations.
• Ensure FAA/NAS 410 compliance and QMS procedures.
