Job summary

Hytek Finishes is seeking an Aerospace NDT Assistant for 1st shift in Kent, WA. This on-site role supports Level I and II NDT Inspectors, handling oven operations, schedule management for bake times, and coordination with NDT and Plating departments.

Employees join FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing, with a pre-employment drug screen for THC, and must follow military/OEM specs. Eligible applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have regular and dependable attendance.
• Ability to Read/Write Communicate in English with other employees, Customers, and auditors.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; export license may be required to work in all areas of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Level I and II NDT Inspectors to complete work and prioritize tasks.
• Follow shop traveler, technique card, customer Purchase Orders, and instructions from experienced NDT Inspectors.
• Learn general review of paperwork to ensure all previous operations were completed. Notify supervisor and Quality Assurance if any errors.
• Learn to prepare parts prior to operations including mechanical or chemical cleaning.
• Learn to perform pre and post cleaning surface finish requirements.
• Learn to follow Quality Assurance requirements. Must follow safety precautions as trained.
• Other duties as assigned.
