Hytek Finishes seeks an Aerospace NDT Assistant in Kent, WA, onsite. This 2nd shift role supports Level I/II NDT inspectors, manages bake and cleaning processes, and complies with FAA testing programs. Training on 1st shift is provided. A strong attendance record and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read/write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Work with Level I and II NDT Inspectors to complete tasks.
• Learn to follow shop traveler, technique card, POs, and instructions from NDT Inspectors.
• Review paperwork to ensure operations are complete and notify QA if errors.
• Prepare parts prior to operations including cleaning.
• Perform pre- and post-cleaning surface finish requirements.
• Follow Quality Assurance requirements.
• Adhere to safety precautions.
• Other duties as assigned.
