Job summary

Aerotek in Kent, WA is seeking an NDT Inspector on the 2nd shift, offering a structured trainee path to certification in Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, and Nital Etch for aerospace components.

You'll train under NDT Level III staff, perform inspections per military and OEM specs, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to FAA Drug & Alcohol Testing requirements. This on-the-job program includes study time and hands-on experience to advance to certified inspector.

Qualifications

• NAS410 Level II certifications in MP and LPI with documented OJT hours.
• Aerospace NDT inspection experience.
• Ability to train and influence others in a production/technical setting.
• Proficient reading, writing and communication in English.
• FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Train under experienced NDT staff to learn and perform NDT processes on aerospace components.
• Collaborate with inspectors to meet production schedules and ensure quality.
• Follow technique cards and orders to perform inspections accurately and consistently.
• Perform Operator Self Verification inspections prior to proceeding.
