Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Waco, TX is seeking a Specialist, Quality - NDI Level 2 to perform nondestructive inspections on aerospace structures and components using UT, PT, ET, MT, and RT methods. The role requires NAS 410 Level 2 credentials and recent NDI experience, with readiness to work overtime and on check aircraft.

You will document inspection results, develop procedures, and train other NDI personnel while maintaining security clearances as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 4+ years related experience, or 8+ years without degree.
• NAS 410 Level 2 Inspector training in UT/ET/RT/MT/PT; UT/ET preferred.
• NAS 410 Level 2 certification with recent hours as NDT inspector.
• Minimum 6 months aerospace NDT experience.
• Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondestructive inspections using UT, PT, ET, MT, RT methods.
• Document inspection results on paper and electronic records.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to determine acceptability per procedures.
• Work on check aircraft as needed.
• Assist development of NDI procedures and train other personnel.
