Job summary

Astrion is seeking a 2nd Shift Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) Technician to join the Civilian Division at Kennedy Space Center, FL. This full-time, onsite role supports aerospace and space-related projects with NDE inspections in field and laboratory settings.

Required: NDE/NDT Level II RT certification and at least 2 years of NDT experience, plus a valid Florida driver's license. US citizenship and eligibility for Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus NDE/NDT training.
• 2+ years of NDT experience required.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform field or laboratory NDE inspections.
• Follow written work instructions and standard procedures.
• Operate NDE test equipment and interpret results.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all tasks.
• Mentor trainees and junior staff as needed.
