Job summary

Radius Aerospace– Hot Springs is seeking a Non-Destructive Test Technician for 2nd shift. The role performs fluorescent liquid penetrant NDT on aerospace parts, interprets results, and maintains inspection documentation per customer specs and procedures.

Training begins on 1st shift with transition to 2nd shift after completion. Candidates need NAS410 vision tolerance, a GED, English proficiency, and 3+ years in aerospace or similar manufacturing, plus willingness to obtain Level 2 penetrant

Qualifications

• NAS410 vision requirements
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years aerospace manufacturing experience
• Willing to obtain Level 2 penetrant certification
• Read, write, speak and understand English
• Able to interpret customer specs and work instructions
• Computer skills for word processing, spreadsheets, email and web apps
• Basic understanding of Work Health & Safety
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication
• Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection NDT experience or certification
• NDT Fluorescent Liquid Penetrant knowledge preferred
• Blueprint reading, precision measurements and applied math knowledge preferred
• Aircraft/structural assembly knowledge preferred
• FAI and inspection procedures knowledge preferred
• LEAN/5S principles preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT using fluorescent penetrant inspection techniques on manufactured parts
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance and calibration of NDT equipment
• Document inspection results according to specifications and procedures
• Review applicable codes, standards and contractual requirements prior to inspections
• Training will occur on 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift
