Job summary

STENA is seeking a Design Engineer in Baltimore to lead mechanical design of aircraft nacelle components, coordinating with engine makers and airframers. You will generate 3D models, drawings, and technical data packages for internal reviews and customer assessments.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering, CAD proficiency, CATIA V5, GD&T, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring compliance with standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in engineering from an accredited university.
Experience with CAD and producing design documentation.
Export-controlled tech requires US Person status or authorization.

Responsibilities

Define nacelle system architecture with engine manufacturer and airframer.
Create 3D models and drawings for system subcomponents.
Prepare technical data packages and present during reviews.
Coordinate with senior engineers to meet requirements.
Interface with vendors and customers on system interfaces.
Review and approve engineering change packages.
Contribute to cost-out analyses.
Collaborate effectively with team members.
