Job summary

Apex Bridge Talent Group is seeking a PCB Layout Engineer for a direct hire position in Irvine, CA. You will focus on multilayer PCB layout, footprint creation, verification, and library management while collaborating with hardware and manufacturing teams.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Mentor Graphics/PADS and have solid IPC standards and fabrication process knowledge. This is an on-site role requiring cross-functional interaction.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in PCB layout design for multilayer boards.
• Experience in footprint creation, verification, and library management.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and PCB fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware, manufacturing and mechanical engineering teams to deliver PCB solutions.
• Create and verify footprints and libraries for multilayer PCBs.
• Apply IPC standards and best practices to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
