Job summary

Ontic in Miramar, FL is seeking a Procurement Director to lead end-to-end supply chain, material planning and warehouse operations for an MRO environment. This executive role requires guiding supplier performance, optimizing inventory, and ensuring on-time production shifts.

You will drive governance for supplier qualification, manage long-lead recovery, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve revenue, turnaround time and compliance with FAA and AS9110 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; aerospace experience considered in lieu of education.
• 10+ years in supply chain, procurement, planning, materials or operations with leadership.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and strong Excel/data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of FAA 14 CFR Part 145 and AS9110 is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, procurement, supplier management, expediting and performance management.
• Own material and production planning translating backlog into executable plans.
• Lead warehouse operations including inventory control and cycle counting.
• Establish Clear-to-Build processes and manage supplier recovery for long-lead items.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Trade Compliance.
• Develop governance for supplier selection, qualification and ongoing performance.
• Provide visibility of material-driven risks via dashboards and ERP data.
• Drive continuous improvement with Value Stream Mapping and standard work.
• Develop and mentor Supply Chain, Planning and Warehouse teams.
