Ontic, a leading aerospace OEM, invites applications for a Procurement Director at our Miramar, FL site. This onsite role reports to the General Manager and leads Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning and Warehouse functions to ensure material availability and on-time shipments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field; aerospace experience may be considered.
• MBA or advanced supply-chain degree preferred.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM/CSCP, CPSM or Lean/Six Sigma certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of FAA 14 CFR Part 145 and AS9110 in aviation maintenance preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive Supply Chain/Procurement/Planning/Operations experience with leadership responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supply Chain org incl. sourcing, procurement, supplier management, expediting, shortage recovery and supplier performance.
• Own Material and Production Planning translating backlog and capacity into executable plans.
• Lead Warehouse operations including Receiving, Inventory Control and cycle counting.
• Build and maintain Clear-to-Build processes for material requirements per repair order.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance and Trade Compliance to remove material constraints.
• Establish governance for supplier selection, qualification and ongoing performance.
• Provide leadership visibility to material-driven revenue risk and purchase commitments via ERP dashboards.
• Drive continuous improvement through Value Stream Mapping and standard work.
• Develop the Supply Chain leadership teams with coaching and capability development.
