Job summary

STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is seeking a Buyer - OSP to manage purchasing for MRO, OSP and related items. You will coordinate requisitions, quotes, POs, and supplier communications to ensure on-time delivery and cost effectiveness, while maintaining internal controls.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of buying experience in manufacturing (aerospace preferred). This position offers growth within a growing aerospace supplier network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Supply Chain or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of professional buying experience in manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Equivalents considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage requisitions and purchasing process for assigned commodities (MRO, OSP, rubber, etc.).
• Solicit quotes and ensure three quotes when required; justify decisions.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders; ensure requirements flow to suppliers.
• Support quoting packages and update Package POs; resolve PO issues.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to meet company targets; manage supplier performance.
