Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an MRB Liaison Engineer to join our aerospace-focused team in Mobile, Alabama. You will analyze non-conformances, evaluate manufacturing deviations, and create engineering dispositions supporting aircraft programs.

The role requires a bachelor's in aeronautical or mechanical engineering, 5–8 years MRB/MAP or design experience, CATIA V5 proficiency, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years MRB/MAP experience in commercial/business aircraft or eight years design in aerospace.
• Excellent knowledge of aircraft structure and system installation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to obtain MRB delegation after training.
• Proficient with CATIA V5 or similar CAD software.
• Able to relocate to Mobile, AL or commute there.

Responsibilities

• Investigate non-conformances reported by Quality group.
• Evaluate manufacturing deviation and its effect within the assembly.
• Create engineering dispositions with drawings and standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with Stress, Manufacturing, Production, and Aerodynamics teams.
• Work with production groups to fix operational issues on aircraft.
• Coordinate with MAP offices to address client requirements.
