Job summary

Expleo seeks an experienced MRB Design Engineer (Levels III–VI) for an on-site role in Tulsa, OK. You will provide MRB disposition support across aerospace programs, lead complex engineering tasks, and mentor teams to resolve critical nonconformances while shaping repair strategies.

Ideal candidates have ABET‑accredited engineering degrees and strong knowledge of metallic and composite structures, with proficiency in CATIA V5 and SAP NCMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field (ABET-accredited).
• Experience supporting aerospace structures, MRB activities, or aircraft design engineering.
• Strong knowledge of metallic and composite aircraft structures.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
• Working knowledge of SAP NCMS or similar nonconformance management systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRB analysis, evaluation, and disposition of nonconforming aircraft structures and components.
• Assess the impact of nonconformances on fit, form, function, safety, and airworthiness.
• Develop repair, rework, and corrective action solutions for metallic and composite structures.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, standards, and manufacturing requirements.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Stress Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers.
• Provide technical justification and supporting documentation for MRB decisions.
• Support customer-facing technical discussions and engineering reviews.
• Lead resolution of highly complex and critical engineering issues.
• Develop and improve engineering methodologies, repair standards, and MRB processes.
• Influence technical strategy, risk mitigation, compliance initiatives, and organizational capability development.
• Mentor engineers and support knowledge transfer across engineering teams.
