Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Chemical Process Operator (Heat Treat) on the 4th shift to operate vacuum and partial pressure furnaces and ensure aerospace components meet customer specifications in Tampa, FL. You will load/unload furnaces, run heat treat programs, monitor cycles, document results, and support maintenance and safety procedures while adhering to quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety procedures and work instructions.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement skills.
• Strong attention to quality and safety.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate vacuum and partial pressure heat treatment furnaces to process aerospace components.
• Load and unload furnaces safely and efficiently.
• Program load parameters and monitor furnace cycles.
• Review process charts and documentation.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain production and downtime records.
• Follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Support equipment maintenance and calibration.
