Job summary

i3 Assembly, LLC is seeking a Compression Mold Operator 1 to support aerospace manufacturing requirements in a fast-paced warehouse setting. You will participate in setup, operation, monitoring, and documentation of compression molding equipment under supervision to ensure compliant, high-quality parts.

The role emphasizes learning department processes, tool preparation, material handling, and adherence to AS9100/ISO quality standards while maintaining safe practices and teamwork in a 2nd shift,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to read and interpret basic work instructions and process documentation.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with AS9100/ISO quality standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate compression molding equipment per work instructions and schedules.
• Assist mold setup, tooling preparation, material loading, and press operation under supervision.
• Monitor molding cycles to ensure quality and process compliance.
• Perform basic adjustments and report deviations or equipment issues.
• Prepare molded components for inspection and secondary operations.
• Complete production documentation and traceability paperwork accurately.
• Verify material IDs, lot numbers, and work orders throughout production.
• Report defects or quality concerns to supervisors or quality/engineering.
