Job summary

i3 Assembly, LLC is seeking an Injection Mold Operator 1 to perform entry-level molding operations in aerospace manufacturing. You will support setup, operation, monitoring, and documentation of molding equipment under supervision and established process controls.

Learning department processes, material handling, tooling prep, inspection methods, and AS9100/ISO quality standards will be part of the role. Teamwork and safety are emphasized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or manufacturing training preferred.
• Experience in molding, assembly, or aerospace manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO, or similar quality standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding equipment per work instructions and schedules.
• Assist mold setup, tooling prep, material loading, and machine operation under supervision.
• Monitor cycles and processes for part quality and compliance.
• Perform basic trimming, cleaning, and finishing of molded components.
• Record production documentation and traceability information with accuracy.
• Report defects or issues to supervisors or quality/engineering teams.
