i3 Assembly is seeking a driven Compression Mold Operator 1 at our Binghamton, NY facility to support aerospace manufacturing. You will operate and monitor compression molding equipment, assist with mold setup, document processes, and ensure quality in a safety-conscious workplace.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning department processes, adherence to AS9100 quality standards, and teamwork. On-site, full-time, 2nd shift with potential overtime; candidates must be U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or manufacturing training preferred.
• Experience in molding, assembly, or aerospace manufacturing environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate compression molding equipment in accordance with work instructions, process sheets, and production schedules.
• Assist with mold setup, tooling preparation, material loading, and press operation under supervision.
• Monitor cycles and processes to ensure consistent part quality and process compliance.
• Perform basic adjustments and notify supervisors of deviations or equipment concerns.
• Remove, trim, clean, and prepare molded components for inspection or secondary operations.
• Complete production documentation, inspection records, and traceability paperwork.
