Job summary

Quest Defense Systems & Solutions, Inc. is seeking an engineering drafter to create 3D models and 2D drawings for aerospace subsystems at Windsor Locks, CT.

You will generate manufacturable designs using NX and GD&T, collaborating with product definition leaders to meet customer requirements and ensure traceability. Ideal candidates hold an AS degree in STEM or engineering degree with relevant experience, know ASME Y14.5, and can obtain or hold an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in STEM or Engineering bachelor’s degree with related experience.
• Experience with model-based definition (MBD) and creating 3D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create 2D drawings for parts, housings and assemblies in NX and manage Bills of Materials.
• Create part definitions using MBD for high-complexity parts and assemblies.
• Check drawings for GD&T accuracy and compliance with aerospace standards.
• Update 3D models and drawings per engineering feedback and change requests.
• Coordinate with engineering, project and manufacturing teams to support reviews and fabrication.
