Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautic Systems is seeking a Milling Machinist Level 2/3 to program, set up, and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes for precision tooling and fixtures. The role requires strong Mastercam skills, ability to read drawings, and a track record of producing high-quality flight hardware.

The candidate will design fixtures, verify with first articles and coordinate with engineering and quality teams to ensure tight tolerances and smooth flow of production. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 2+ years related experience for Level 2; 4+ years for Level 3.
• Experience in Mastercam programming for milling and turning.
• Ability to read drawings/solid models.
• U.S. Citizenship required; ability to obtain and maintain government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes for tooling, fixtures, and production parts.
• Create and modify Mastercam programs from CAD models and drawings.
• Design and build custom fixturing and tooling for prototyping and production.
• Perform manual machining and inspection; follow blueprints and GD&T.
