Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautic Systems is seeking a Milling Machinist Level 2/3 for a multi-shift role. The candidate will program, set up, and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes to produce precision tooling and flight hardware components.

Responsibilities include creating Mastercam programs, drafting fixtures, interpreting drawings, and ensuring quality through first article inspection. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T callouts, and 3D CAD models.
• Experience in Mastercam programming for milling and turning.
• Must be able to work from drawings/solid models and obtain/maintain U.S. Government Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Haas CNC mills and lathes for precision tooling and production support parts.
• Create and modify Mastercam programs using CAD models and drawings.
• Design and build fixtures, jigs, and tooling for prototype applications.
• Perform manual machining for tool repair or prototype development.
• Read and interpret blueprints and 3D CAD models, and verify parameters for accuracy.
